Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TheLineCricket ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• Users under 13 can only access the App through a parent/guardian's household account as a child profile
• By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• One email address per household account
• You may create multiple profiles (adult + child) under one household
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

4. Content & Conduct

When using TheLineCricket, you agree to:

• Not post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Not impersonate another person or falsify your identity
• Not spam, promote scams, or post misleading content
• Not upload malicious code or attempt to hack the platform
• Not use the platform for any non-cricket commercial purpose without permission
• Accurately report match scores (intentional score manipulation may result in a ban)

5. Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of content you post (photos, videos, text)
• By posting, you grant TheLineCricket a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute your content within the platform
• Match data (scores, statistics) becomes part of TheLineCricket's collective dataset
• We may remove content that violates these terms

6. Identity Verification

• Aadhaar verification is optional and voluntary
• Verification documents are reviewed manually by our team
• Verified status may be revoked if we determine the verification was fraudulent
• We store verification documents securely and use them solely for identity confirmation

7. Match Scoring

• Match organizers are responsible for the accuracy of scores
• TheLineCricket is not responsible for disputes between teams or players
• Live scoring data is provided "as-is" and may contain human errors

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@thelinecricket.com.

9. Limitation of Liability

TheLineCricket is provided "as-is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to data loss, match disputes, or service interruptions.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
